Harcourt Terrace

ITA Interiors designed and project managed the complete modernisation of this large 3 bedroom apartment that had not been renovated in 12 years.

The property serves as a pied-a-terre and the client provided photos of her primary residence in Milan in order for us to be inspired and base our initial designs around. We used large format polished Calacatta marble tiles, sourced and imported from Italy, to create the perception of a vast and eloquent space and we complemented it with brushed brass taps and fixings. Towel racks on the walls not only provide extra storage but also help to soften the space and provide great aesthetic contrast to the clean cut marble tiles.

For the en suite bathroom, we carved out a skylight in order to bring as much natural light down into the room, minimising the need for artificial lighting. We installed underfloor heating which works great under the marble flooring due to its thermal conductivity and helps to provide comfort in the room while retaining the cool and elegant marble aesthetic.
